Tools for the Visualisation of Scottish Country Dances

BSc Computer Science Final Year Project

Ian Brockbank

My final year project, "Tools for the Visualisation of Scottish Country Dances", centred around producing an animation tool and language for Scottish Country Dances. Feel free to have a play around with it.

You can find the full thesis (510Kb), the earlier, summary chapters (298Kb) and a description of the file format (239Kb). All are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat reader or similar. You can also download the latest build of the program (zipped, 917Kb) with supporting files and three sample files of dances.

Please note, this is for interest only at present - I would like to find time to come back to and improve this, but I have many other, higher priority things on my plate right now.
